Principle of operation

During the operation of the system, the feed water passes through the filter loading layer. The filter to reduce water hardness works on the principle of ion exchange (cationization). As a filter load, an ion exchange resin is used. Granules of cation exchange resin absorb ions of hardness salts, replacing them with safe sodium ions. As a result of ion exchange, water hardness is normalized.
